The TERESA project successfully completed its second experiment – MON April 27th – FRI May 8th 2015 – at the Les Arcades elderly day centre in Troyes, France.
The TERESA robot was tested with elderly visitors at the centre in scenarios involving both social navigation and conversation. A large dataset was collected and the autonomous navigation module was tested for the first time. The third experiment, which will test an improved navigation system as well as autonomous body-pose control, is planned for December.
